Groww's platform engineering team is hiring a Node.js Backend Developer to build the APIs and background services powering stock trading, mutual fund purchases, and portfolio management for 10M+ investors.

You will work in a fast-growing fintech environment, collaborating with frontend and data teams to deliver reliable financial services.

  • 2–4 years Node.js backend development
  • Express.js or Fastify
  • PostgreSQL and Redis
  • Celery or Bull queue for background jobs
  • AWS deployment experience
  • Strong JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Interest in financial markets is a strong plus
  • Build RESTful APIs for investment features
  • Develop background job processing for order execution
  • Integrate with NSE and BSE market data APIs
  • Write unit and integration tests with Jest
  • Optimise query performance for high-traffic endpoints
  • Support production deployments and monitoring
