Independently design, develop and validate CNC programs for a range of metal cutting machine tools. Accountable for CNC program safety, quality, OTD and process efficiency, along with production support such as machine and process troubleshooting.
- Design, develop and validate CNC programs for metal cutting machine tools
- Provide production support including machine and process troubleshooting
- Control the handling of CNC programs in the server
- Support the NC programmer team
- Ability to gain technical knowledge as part of the work
- Good communication skills to coordinate and roll out jobs with counterparts
- Basic technical understanding of CNC programming and metal cutting tools
