GlobalLogic is seeking a skilled Mobile Developer (Android) to work with a world-leading manufacturer of premium quality smart beds. You will be part of a fast-moving, highly technical team focused on bringing people better health and well-being through innovative sleep technologies and digitized solutions.
- Design and develop high-quality native Android applications
- Write clear, concise, and well-documented code
- Provide helpful feedback during code reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment
- Construct, enhance, and troubleshoot native Android applications
- Implement complex new features and functionality, and build applications end-to-end
- Ensure applications meet performance, security, and reliability standards
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in an appropriate engineering field
- 5+ years experience with professional native Android app development
- Expert in Android architecture and mobile application design patterns
- Experienced in developing customer-facing, commercial Android applications using Kotlin or Java
- Deep understanding of Android frameworks, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Knowledgeable in consuming RESTful APIs and working with HTTP and mobile databases
- Strong Object-Oriented (OO) design and development skills
