Paytm's Risk and Trust team is hiring an ML Engineer to build real-time fraud detection and risk scoring models that protect 300M+ users and 21M+ merchants.
You will work with massive transaction datasets, deploy low-latency ML models, and directly prevent fraudsters from exploiting India's largest payments platform.
- 3–5 years ML engineering experience
- Python: PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
- Experience with fraud detection, anomaly detection, or risk models
- Real-time model serving with low latency (sub-50ms)
- Kafka streaming and feature stores
- SQL and Spark for large-scale data processing
- Strong understanding of class imbalance techniques
- Build and maintain real-time fraud detection ML models
- Deploy models to low-latency serving infrastructure
- Monitor model performance and detect data drift
- Build feature engineering pipelines using Kafka
- Run experiments to improve precision and recall
- Collaborate with the risk operations team
