TCS is hiring a Mainframe COBOL Developer for a core banking system maintenance and modernisation engagement with a large public sector bank in India running IBM z/OS mainframe systems.

  • 3–5 years IBM mainframe COBOL development
  • COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2 proficiency
  • VSAM and GDG file processing
  • TSO/ISPF and SDSF tools
  • Core banking system exposure preferred
  • Syncsort or CA7 scheduler experience a plus
  • Maintain and enhance COBOL batch and online programs
  • Debug production JCL job failures and CICS abends
  • Implement change requests on core banking COBOL programs
  • Write and execute unit test cases using XPEDITER
  • Produce technical design documents for enhancements
