Ajio is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer specializing in recommendation systems to help build the next generation of personalized fashion discovery for its 30+ million customers. You will own the ML models that power product recommendations, visual search, and style personalization features.
The role combines ML research with production engineering, requiring both strong algorithm design skills and the ability to deploy and monitor models at scale on AWS.
- Design and build product recommendation models using collaborative and content-based filtering
- Develop visual similarity models for fashion image-based search
- Run A/B experiments to evaluate recommendation quality
- 3-6 years of ML engineering experience with recommendation systems
- Strong Python skills with scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
- Experience with recommendation algorithms (matrix factorization, deep learning-based)
- Knowledge of large-scale feature stores and serving infrastructure
- Experience with AWS SageMaker or equivalent ML platforms
- E-commerce or fashion domain experience is a plus
- Build and improve recommendation models for product discovery
- Develop visual search and image embedding pipelines
- Deploy models to production and monitor performance
- Run A/B experiments and analyze recommendations quality
- Collaborate with product teams on new ML-powered features
