Google India is looking for exceptional Machine Learning Engineers to work on large-scale AI/ML systems that power products used by billions of users globally. This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
You will work on challenging problems in natural language processing, computer vision, or recommendation systems, building systems that go from research prototype to production at planet-scale.
- Design and implement ML training and serving infrastructure
- Collaborate with research scientists to productionize new models
- Improve model accuracy, latency, and throughput at scale
- 5+ years of ML engineering or software engineering experience
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++
- Experience with TensorFlow or JAX in production settings
- Deep understanding of ML algorithms and model architectures
- Experience with distributed training and model optimization
- PhD or MS in CS, ML, or related field preferred but not mandatory
- Publications in top ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) are a plus
- Build and scale ML systems from research to production
- Design data pipelines and feature engineering systems
- Run experiments and iterate on model architectures
- Optimize models for inference performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Google
