Sophos India is hiring a Junior Network Administrator to join its internal IT infrastructure team in Ahmedabad. You will manage Sophos' corporate network infrastructure, assist senior engineers on network upgrades, and provide L2 network support to Sophos employees across India office locations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a freshly certified network engineer to gain hands-on experience with enterprise-grade Cisco and Sophos networking equipment in a global cybersecurity company environment.
- Monitor and manage Cisco-based corporate LAN/WAN infrastructure
- Configure Sophos XG Firewall and UTM policies for office network security
- Assist senior engineers on network upgrade projects and documentation
- 1-2 years of network administration experience or fresh CCNA certification
- Hands-on knowledge of Cisco Catalyst switches and routers
- Basic firewall configuration experience (Sophos, Cisco ASA, or similar)
- Understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, OSPF, and BGP fundamentals
- CCNA certification is required
- Willingness to travel to other Sophos India offices for network projects
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity incidents
- Configure and maintain VLANs, spanning tree, and routing protocols
- Manage Sophos XG Firewall policies and VPN configurations
- Assist with network refresh and upgrade projects
- Maintain network topology documentation and asset inventory
