Java + Native AI

Senior Java Engineer with AI focus, responsible for modernizing legacy Java applications and leading AI-driven proof of concepts to improve productivity and cloud readiness.

Collaborates with architects, stakeholders, and leadership to design modernization roadmaps and present ROI.

• Lead and contribute to Java modernization initiatives, including version upgrades and microservices transformation
• Drive AI/Agentic AI proof‑of‑concepts to identify productivity gains and automate development/testing activities
• Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, QA teams, and engineering leadership to define modernization roadmaps and AI adoption strategies
• Present POC outcomes, ROI metrics, and AI transformation recommendations to leadership teams
• Ensure performance optimization and cloud readiness of modernized applications

• 8+ years hands‑on experience in Java application development
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise integration
• Proven track record in Java modernization initiatives (version upgrades, monolith‑to‑microservices transformation, middleware migration, performance optimization, cloud readiness)
• Strong understanding of GenAI technologies, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI‑assisted development, and AI‑enabled productivity tools
• Hands‑on experience with Agentic AI concepts and frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, semantic search, RAG, MCP)
• Experience with Azure OpenAI/OpenAI services, GitHub Copilot, and related AI platforms
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Experience in insurance domain modernization projects is highly desirable
