Mprofit Software is hiring a Junior Java Developer with 1 year of experience to join its backend team building portfolio management APIs and investment analytics services. You will work on high-precision financial data processing that helps over 50,000 investors track their wealth.
This role is ideal for early-career developers who want deep exposure to financial domain software, strong mentorship, and the satisfaction of building products that directly help retail investors.
- Develop Spring Boot REST APIs for investment portfolio management
- Implement financial calculations for mutual fund NAV, returns, and tax
- Write unit tests ensuring accuracy of financial computation logic
- 1+ year Java development experience with Spring Boot
- Good understanding of OOP principles and design patterns
- Knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with REST API development
- Basic Git and Maven knowledge
- Interest in financial markets and personal finance is a plus
- Develop and maintain Java APIs for portfolio tracking features
- Implement new financial calculation modules with precision
- Write unit and integration tests for all new code
- Participate in code reviews and daily standups
- Support client-reported bugs with timely fixes
