Tech Mahindra is hiring a Java Backend Developer to work on enterprise telecom software solutions for a global telecom client. You will be part of a large engineering team building and maintaining BSS/OSS systems that power network services for millions of subscribers.
The role involves working on complex, large-scale Java applications with high performance and reliability requirements. Exposure to telecom domain is a definite advantage.
- Develop and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices
- Integrate with telecom-specific APIs and middleware
- Optimize database queries and application performance
- 3-6 years of Java development experience
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA
- Experience with RESTful web services and SOAP APIs
- Proficiency with Oracle or MySQL databases
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns
- Familiarity with Maven or Gradle build systems
- Telecom domain experience is a plus
- Design and implement Java-based backend services
- Develop RESTful APIs integrated with frontend and third-party systems
- Write unit tests and ensure code coverage targets are met
- Participate in system design reviews and code reviews
- Debug production issues and provide L3 support
