HDFC Bank is seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to oversee the bank's information security policies, compliance programs, and risk management initiatives. This is a senior role reporting to the CISO, with responsibility for a team of security analysts and compliance specialists.
The role requires deep understanding of banking regulations, RBI cybersecurity frameworks, and enterprise security architecture. You will be responsible for ensuring HDFC Bank's digital infrastructure meets the highest standards of security and regulatory compliance.
- Manage the bank's information security governance framework
- Lead security risk assessments and third-party audits
- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines on cybersecurity
- 10+ years of information security experience, with 3+ years in a management role
- CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification is mandatory
- Deep knowledge of RBI IT/Cybersecurity framework and banking regulations
- Experience with ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and NIST frameworks
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing security teams
- Excellent communication skills for board-level reporting
- Own and maintain the bank's information security management system (ISMS)
- Lead the annual security risk assessment process
- Manage relationships with regulators, auditors, and third-party assessors
- Drive security awareness programs for bank employees
- Report on security posture to board and executive committee
