Innovaccer is hiring a Healthcare Interoperability Engineer to build the HL7 FHIR API gateway and EHR integration adapters connecting Innovaccer's platform with Epic, Cerner, and Athena EHR systems for 3,000+ US healthcare organisations.

3–5 years healthcare interoperability engineering
FHIR R4 API implementation: SMART on FHIR and CDS Hooks
Epic and Cerner EHR API integration experience strongly preferred
HL7 v2 message parsing and transformation
Java or Python backend development
HIPAA-compliant API gateway design

Build FHIR R4 API adapters for Epic, Cerner, and Athena EHR integration
Implement SMART on FHIR OAuth authentication for patient app integration
Develop HL7 v2 ADT, ORM, and ORU message processing pipelines
Build HIPAA-compliant API gateway with audit logging
Support US EHR customer onboarding and integration testing
Produce healthcare interoperability technical documentation
