Zerodha is looking for an exceptional Go Developer to build and maintain the low-latency backend systems that power India's largest stock trading platform. With millions of orders processed every second during market hours, performance is not just a goal — it's a requirement.

You will work on order management systems, market data feeds, risk engines, and broker APIs. Zerodha is known for its engineering culture of simplicity, reliability, and speed.

  • Build high-throughput order processing and risk management systems in Go
  • Optimize for microsecond-level latency in order execution paths
  • Design APIs consumed by trading terminals and mobile apps
  • 3-6 years of backend development with at least 2 years in Go
  • Deep understanding of Go concurrency patterns (goroutines, channels)
  • Experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis
  • Familiarity with financial systems or trading technology is a major plus
  • Understanding of Linux networking and TCP/IP stack
  • Design and implement backend services in Go for trading operations
  • Optimize critical code paths for latency and throughput
  • Build reliable, fault-tolerant systems with proper error handling
  • Write comprehensive tests and benchmarks
  • Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews
