GCP Data Engineer

We are looking for a GCP Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform. The role involves developing ETL/ELT workflows, optimizing performance, ensuring data integrity and security, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

• Design and build scalable data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines using GCP services
• Implement solutions with BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer
• Integrate data from diverse sources (APIs, databases, files)
• Optimize performance, cost‑efficiency, and reliability of data processes
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and architects to meet data needs
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance
• Implement CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot data workloads and systems

• 5+ years of overall experience in data engineering
• Proficiency in Python and Java
• Expertise with Apache Beam and GCP data services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Spanner, GCS)
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data modeling
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform
• Familiarity with Kafka (batch/streaming) and CDC concepts
• Understanding of data security and scalability
• Experience with CI/CD and IaC practices
