Tata Communications is hiring a GCP Cloud Engineer to design and manage Google Cloud Platform infrastructure for its enterprise cloud managed services practice. You will work on GCP infrastructure deployments for Fortune 500 clients across manufacturing, BFSI, and media sectors.
The role involves designing landing zones, managing GKE clusters, implementing network security, and providing L3 support for production GCP environments.
- Design and deploy GCP infrastructure for enterprise clients
- Manage GKE clusters and containerized workloads
- Implement Cloud Armor, VPC Service Controls, and IAM governance
- 3-5 years of cloud engineering experience with GCP
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer certification
- Strong knowledge of GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub
- Experience with Terraform for GCP infrastructure provisioning
- Understanding of GCP networking (VPC, Cloud NAT, Cloud Armor)
- Scripting skills in Python or Bash
- Design and provision GCP infrastructure using Terraform
- Manage and optimize GKE clusters in production
- Implement security controls and access governance on GCP
- Monitor cloud costs and implement optimization recommendations
- Create technical documentation and runbooks for client environments
