Vedantu is seeking a Full Stack Developer to build and enhance its live online learning platform. You will work on real-time video classrooms, interactive quiz features, and teacher-student engagement tools that have transformed how India's students learn.
This role involves both frontend (React) and backend (Node.js) development, with a strong focus on low-latency, real-time features. You will collaborate with product, design, and mobile teams to deliver seamless learning experiences.
- Build real-time classroom features using WebRTC and WebSockets
- Develop interactive quiz and assessment modules in React
- Build Node.js APIs for session management and content delivery
- 2-5 years of full-stack development experience
- Strong proficiency in React and Node.js
- Experience with real-time technologies (WebSockets, WebRTC, Socket.io)
- Good understanding of MongoDB and PostgreSQL
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudFront)
- Knowledge of video streaming infrastructure is a plus
- Build and maintain full-stack features for live classrooms and assessments
- Implement real-time communication features with low latency
- Collaborate with backend teams on API design
- Write automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize application performance for students on low-bandwidth connections
