Urban Company is hiring an Engineering Manager for the Growth Engineering team responsible for building user acquisition, referral, promotions, and CRM technology serving 50M+ homes.
- 7–10 years engineering with 2+ years as Engineering Manager
- Experience leading growth or consumer product engineering teams
- Strong Java or Node.js backend and system design
- Track record of data-driven feature experimentation
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration with product and marketing
- Prior consumer internet or marketplace platform experience
- Lead growth engineering team of 10 engineers
- Own CRM, referral, and promotions platform engineering
- Drive quarterly OKRs for user acquisition and activation
- Hire and develop engineering talent
- Collaborate with product and data science on growth experiments
- Establish engineering best practices for A/B experimentation
