Nokia India's RAN R&D team in Bangalore is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to develop Layer 1 (L1) and Layer 2 (L2) 5G NR radio access network software for Nokia's AirScale radio products.
- 3–5 years C or C++ embedded systems development
- Real-time operating systems: VxWorks or similar
- 3GPP LTE/NR Layer 1 or Layer 2 protocol experience
- DSP or FPGA processing for radio signal processing preferred
- Multi-core SoC programming experience
- AUTOSAR or telecom protocol stack experience
- Develop 5G NR L1/L2 software features for Nokia AirScale BTS
- Implement 3GPP physical layer and MAC scheduling algorithms
- Optimise radio signal processing for ARM and DSP processors
- Write unit and integration tests for L1/L2 protocol stack
- Debug radio performance issues in lab and field environments
- Collaborate with Nokia hardware teams on SoC bring-up
