Tata Elxsi is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer with AUTOSAR expertise to work on automotive ECU software development for a global OEM client. You will develop and integrate AUTOSAR BSW and application layer software for next-generation vehicle platforms including ADAS and body electronics ECUs.
This is a specialized role for automotive software engineers who want to work with the latest vehicle architectures including zonal E/E architecture and high-performance computing platforms used in modern vehicles.
- Develop AUTOSAR classic and adaptive BSW configuration using Vector tools
- Implement vehicle communication stacks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- Support SW integration, HIL testing, and ECU calibration
- 3-6 years of embedded software development in automotive domain
- Strong AUTOSAR Classic BSW knowledge (Com Stack, Diagnostics, OS)
- Experience with Vector tools (DaVinci Developer, CAPL, CANdb++)
- Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems
- Knowledge of automotive protocols: CAN, LIN, UDS, OBD
- Experience with HIL (Hardware-in-Loop) testing is a strong plus
- Configure and integrate AUTOSAR BSW for automotive ECU projects
- Develop application software components (ASW) on AUTOSAR RTE
- Support unit testing and component integration testing
- Debug ECU issues using oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and CANalyzer
- Create and maintain software design documentation per ASPICE standards
