Ather Energy is hiring an Embedded Firmware Engineer to build the software that powers the vehicle control unit, instrument cluster, and IoT connectivity of India's smartest electric scooters.
You will work on real hardware, solving complex embedded challenges at the intersection of automotive, IoT, and consumer electronics.
- 2–5 years embedded C/C++ firmware development
- ARM Cortex-M microcontroller programming
- FreeRTOS or AUTOSAR RTOS
- CAN, UART, SPI, I2C protocols
- OTA firmware update implementation
- Hardware debugging: JTAG, oscilloscope, logic analyser
- B.Tech in ECE, EE, or CS
- Develop and maintain VCU firmware features
- Implement and test OTA update manager
- Validate firmware on physical hardware benches
- Debug hardware-firmware interface issues
- Write HIL test automation scripts
- Produce firmware architecture documentation
