Freshworks is hiring a DevOps Engineer with strong CI/CD pipeline expertise to join its developer platform team in Chennai. You will build and maintain the continuous delivery infrastructure that enables 400+ Freshworks engineers to ship code safely and quickly to production multiple times a day.

The ideal candidate is passionate about developer experience and reliability, and has hands-on experience building opinionated CI/CD pipelines with quality gates, test automation integration, and progressive delivery capabilities.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting microservices-based SaaS delivery
Implement deployment strategies: blue-green, canary, and feature flags
Develop developer platform tooling that improves engineer productivity

3-6 years of DevOps or platform engineering experience
Expert knowledge of GitHub Actions and Jenkins for CI/CD
Experience with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes on AWS EKS
Strong Terraform skills for infrastructure provisioning
Knowledge of feature flag management (LaunchDarkly) and progressive delivery
Programming skills in Python or Go for tool development

Build scalable CI/CD pipelines for multiple Freshworks product engineering teams
Implement deployment strategies for zero-downtime releases
Develop internal tooling for build, test, and deployment automation
Monitor and improve pipeline reliability and performance metrics
Conduct DevOps training and workshops for engineering teams
