IBM India is looking for an experienced Database Administrator to manage and optimize database systems for a large financial services client. You will ensure high availability, performance, and security of production database environments running on IBM Db2, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.

- Manage and monitor production databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Db2)
- Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations
- Optimize SQL queries and database performance
- 4-7 years of database administration experience
- Hands-on expertise with Oracle or IBM Db2 in production environments
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills
- Experience with database backup and recovery strategies
- Knowledge of database replication and high availability setups
- Oracle DBA or IBM Db2 certification preferred
- Experience with UNIX/Linux system administration
- Manage day-to-day operations of production databases
- Implement and test backup and recovery procedures
- Tune query performance and database configurations
- Apply patches and upgrades following change management processes
- Collaborate with development teams on schema design and optimization
