Juspay is hiring a Data Scientist specializing in NLP to build intelligent fraud detection and customer support automation systems for its payments infrastructure. You will work on text classification, anomaly detection in transaction narratives, and intent recognition models.
The role involves working with high-stakes financial data, requiring both strong ML skills and domain sensitivity around payment security. You will collaborate closely with fraud analysts and product engineers.
- Build NLP models for fraud narrative classification and anomaly detection
- Develop intent recognition for automated payment support workflows
- Analyze transaction patterns to identify emerging fraud vectors
- 3-5 years of data science experience with NLP focus
- Strong Python skills with Hugging Face, spaCy, and PyTorch
- Experience with transformer-based NLP models (BERT, DistilBERT)
- Knowledge of anomaly detection and fraud modeling techniques
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction
- Experience deploying ML models in production via REST APIs
- Develop NLP models for fraud detection and transaction classification
- Build automated text analytics pipelines for payment data
- Deploy and monitor models in production environments
- Collaborate with fraud analysts to refine model outputs
- Present model performance reports and recommendations
