upGrad's Data Science team is hiring a Data Scientist to build learner engagement, course completion prediction, and personalised learning path recommendation models for 3M+ professional learners across upGrad's platform.
- 3–5 years data science experience in EdTech or consumer tech
- Sequential recommendation and learning path models
- Python: scikit-learn, XGBoost, and TensorFlow
- A/B experiment design for learning outcome evaluation
- SQL and Spark for learner behaviour data analysis
- EdTech or e-learning domain knowledge preferred
- Build learner dropout prediction and early intervention models
- Develop personalised course and content recommendation systems
- Run A/B experiments to improve learner engagement and completion rates
- Analyse cohort learning outcomes and identify skill gap patterns
- Present data science insights to upGrad CPO and leadership
- Collaborate with engineering on feature pipeline development
