Razorpay's Data Platform team is looking for a skilled Data Engineer to build and maintain the financial data infrastructure supporting analytics, compliance, and ML teams. You will work on pipelines processing billions of payment events annually with strict accuracy and latency requirements mandated by RBI regulations.
The role involves building on AWS with Glue, Redshift, and EMR, and requires understanding of data privacy regulations applicable to financial data in India.
- Build ETL pipelines for payment transaction data on AWS
- Design Redshift data warehouse models for financial analytics
- Implement data lineage and quality monitoring for regulatory compliance
- 3-5 years of data engineering experience on AWS
- Strong knowledge of AWS Glue, Redshift, S3, and EMR
- Proficiency in PySpark and Python for data processing
- Advanced SQL and data modeling skills
- Experience with Airflow for pipeline orchestration
- Understanding of financial data regulations is a strong plus
- Design and build AWS-based data pipelines for payment analytics
- Maintain and optimize Redshift warehouse performance
- Implement data quality checks and alerting for critical pipelines
- Collaborate with analytics and compliance teams on reporting needs
- Document data models and architecture decisions
