Postman is hiring a Data Engineer to build the analytics pipelines processing billions of API request events from 30M+ developers — powering Postman's product insights, usage analytics, and developer behaviour intelligence.

4–6 years data engineering experience
AWS: Kinesis, S3, Glue, and Redshift
Apache Spark and PySpark for large-scale event processing
Kafka for real-time API event streaming
dbt for data modelling on Redshift
Python and strong SQL
Developer platform or SaaS analytics domain experience preferred

Build Kinesis streaming pipelines for billion-event API analytics
Develop PySpark batch processing for developer usage intelligence
Design dbt semantic models for product and developer analytics
Optimise Redshift query performance for product dashboards
Build data quality monitoring for developer event pipelines
Collaborate with product analytics team on feature instrumentation
