Data Analyst Commercial Analytics / Data & AI

Remote contract role for an experienced Data Analyst focused on commercial analytics and data‑AI initiatives. The position involves translating business requirements into complex SQL solutions, building and validating analytical datasets, and delivering actionable insights to sales, marketing, and commercial teams.

• Translate commercial processes into analytical requirements and develop complex SQL solutions.
• Analyze commercial and sales performance across markets, identifying gaps and opportunities.
• Develop SQL‑based data‑quality and validation checks, reconciling results with source systems.
• Design and maintain data warehousing structures, including star/snowflake schemas and Silver/Gold layers.
• Build and maintain analytical datasets for dashboards using Qlik Sense, with optional integration of Power BI or Tableau.
• Collaborate directly with sales, marketing, commercial excellence, data engineering, BI, and AI/ML teams.

• 5+ years of Data Analytics experience
• Advanced SQL skills (CTEs, joins, window functions, subqueries, aggregations)
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks and/or Amazon Redshift
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modelling (star, snowflake, fact & dimension tables)
• Proficiency in data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks
• Commercial or sales analytics expertise (order‑to‑cash, pricing, promotions, loyalty, forecasting)
• Excellent stakeholder communication and business‑to‑technical translation
