Axis Bank is hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen its digital banking security posture. You will be part of the bank's information security team, monitoring threats, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with RBI's cybersecurity framework.
The role involves hands-on work with SIEM, endpoint protection, and fraud detection systems protecting 30+ million banking customers. Banking domain exposure is preferred but not mandatory for strong security candidates.
- Monitor SIEM alerts and investigate potential threats to banking systems
- Analyze fraud and cybercrime incidents involving digital banking channels
- Conduct vulnerability assessments on banking applications and infrastructure
- 2-5 years of cybersecurity or SOC experience
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk or QRadar)
- Understanding of banking security regulations (RBI cybersecurity circular)
- Knowledge of fraud detection in digital banking channels
- CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent certification preferred
- Familiarity with OWASP security controls
- Monitor security events and investigate incidents across banking infrastructure
- Analyze alerts from SIEM, WAF, and fraud detection platforms
- Perform vulnerability assessments and risk evaluations
- Coordinate with IT and business teams on security issue remediation
- Prepare security incident reports for internal governance
