HCL Technologies is hiring a Cloud Security Engineer for its cybersecurity practice based in Chennai. You will secure cloud environments for enterprise clients on AWS and Azure, implementing cloud-native security controls, compliance frameworks, and automated threat detection.
This is a growing area and the role involves working on cutting-edge cloud security tooling including AWS Security Hub, Azure Defender, and CSPM platforms. You will collaborate with cloud architects and DevOps teams to embed security into infrastructure delivery.
- Implement cloud security controls on AWS and Azure for enterprise clients
- Configure CSPM tools and remediate cloud security posture findings
- Build security automation using Python and infrastructure-as-code
- 3-6 years of cloud security or DevSecOps experience
- Strong knowledge of AWS security services (GuardDuty, SecurityHub, CloudTrail, IAM)
- Experience with Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, and Entra ID
- Proficiency with CSPM tools (Prisma Cloud, Wiz, Lacework)
- Security certifications: AWS Security Specialty or AZ-500 preferred
- Scripting skills in Python for security automation
- Design and implement cloud security architecture for client environments
- Configure and manage CSPM tools for continuous compliance monitoring
- Build automated remediation pipelines for cloud security findings
- Conduct cloud security assessments and produce risk reports
- Support DevSecOps integration of security tooling into CI/CD pipelines
