Amazon India is hiring a Business Intelligence Engineer to support data-driven decision making across its Indian marketplace and Prime operations. You will build data pipelines, dashboards, and reports that help business and product teams track KPIs and identify growth opportunities.
You will work with petabytes of data across Redshift, S3, and internal Amazon data platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong technical SQL skills with business curiosity and clear communication.
- Design and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows
- Build executive-level dashboards using Amazon QuickSight
- Define and track business metrics for India marketplace performance
- 3-5 years of BI engineering or data analytics experience
- Advanced SQL skills including complex joins, window functions, CTEs
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and columnar databases (Redshift)
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipeline orchestration
- Experience with Amazon QuickSight or Tableau
- Strong analytical thinking and business acumen
- Experience with Python for data automation is a plus
- Design and build scalable data pipelines for business reporting
- Develop self-service dashboards for non-technical stakeholders
- Define metrics and KPI frameworks with product and business teams
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on business performance
- Ensure data accuracy and resolve data quality issues
