Polygon Labs is hiring a skilled Blockchain Developer to build decentralized applications and smart contract infrastructure on Polygon's Layer 2 network. This is an opportunity to work at the cutting edge of Web3, contributing to technology that is scaling Ethereum to billions of users.
You will design, build, and audit smart contracts, integrate blockchain functionality into web applications, and contribute to open-source blockchain tooling used by developers worldwide.
- Write, test, and deploy Solidity smart contracts
- Build web3 frontends using ethers.js or web3.js
- Contribute to Polygon's open-source developer tooling
- 2-5 years of blockchain development experience
- Strong Solidity programming skills with production smart contract experience
- Experience with Hardhat or Foundry for smart contract development
- Knowledge of ERC standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155)
- Familiarity with Layer 2 scaling solutions (rollups, sidechains)
- Experience with ethers.js or web3.js for frontend integration
- Understanding of DeFi protocols and tokenomics
- Design and implement smart contracts for various protocol use cases
- Write comprehensive tests for smart contracts using Foundry or Hardhat
- Audit contracts for security vulnerabilities before deployment
- Build and maintain web3 SDKs and developer tools
- Contribute to technical documentation and community resources
