Whatfix is hiring a Backend Engineer to build the analytics ingestion and reporting APIs that process billions of in-app guidance interaction events from 700+ enterprise deployments across the globe.

3–5 years Python and Django or FastAPI development
Large-scale event data processing with Kafka and Spark
Clickhouse or Druid for time-series analytics storage
PostgreSQL and Redis
AWS: S3, Lambda, and Kinesis
Strong understanding of analytics data modelling

Build high-throughput analytics ingestion APIs processing billions of events
Develop Clickhouse query APIs for enterprise analytics dashboards
Build Kafka consumer pipelines for real-time event processing
Write comprehensive pytest unit and integration tests
Optimise analytics query performance for enterprise customers
Design analytics data models for new guidance product features
