Razorpay's Dashboard Platform team is hiring a Backend Engineer to build the merchant-facing API platform and webhook infrastructure used by 500,000+ businesses to integrate Razorpay into their applications.
- 3–5 years Node.js backend development
- TypeScript and async programming patterns
- PostgreSQL and Redis expertise
- REST API and webhook design for developer-first platforms
- RabbitMQ or AWS SQS message queuing
- Docker and Kubernetes deployment
- Build and maintain Razorpay merchant dashboard APIs
- Design and implement webhook delivery and retry infrastructure
- Develop API key management and rate limiting systems
- Write comprehensive Jest unit and integration tests
- Optimise API response times and throughput
- Review code from peers and mentor junior engineers
