CRED is hiring a Backend Engineer for the CRED Credit team to build CRED Cash personal credit, CRED Pay BNPL, and credit line management features for 10M+ of India's most creditworthy consumers.
- 3–5 years Java or Python backend engineering
- Consumer lending or credit platform engineering experience preferred
- PostgreSQL and Redis for credit data management
- Kafka for credit lifecycle event streaming
- RBI digital lending compliance awareness
- Bureau integration: CIBIL and Experian API experience
- Build CRED Cash personal credit origination and disbursement microservices
- Develop CRED Pay BNPL checkout and repayment APIs
- Implement real-time credit line management and utilisation tracking
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
- Ensure RBI digital lending compliance in all credit features
- Review code from junior engineers
