Slice is hiring a Backend Developer with strong GoLang skills to build the financial services infrastructure powering India's fastest-growing credit platform. You will work on credit decisioning engines, payment routing, and real-time transaction processing systems.

Slice's engineering team is small and extremely capable — you will get high ownership and learn deeply about fintech engineering. If you love writing clean, concurrent Go code with real financial consequences, this is the role for you.

Build credit decisioning and underwriting service APIs in Go
Develop real-time payment processing and UPI integration services
Design low-latency APIs for the Slice mobile app

2-5 years of backend development with at least 1.5 years in Go
Strong understanding of Go concurrency and goroutines
Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis in production
Knowledge of financial APIs (UPI, NACH, credit bureaus) is a plus
Familiarity with gRPC and Protobuf
Strong interest in fintech engineering

Design and build Go microservices for credit and payments
Optimize API latency for mobile app interactions
Write extensive tests including race-condition tests
Participate in architecture and design discussions
Contribute to developer tooling and internal platforms
