The role focuses on designing and implementing data pipelines using Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and Lambda Data Architecture. The engineer will build scalable data solutions, manage data lake storage, and transform data for analytics.
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines in Azure Databricks
- Implement Delta Lake tables and time‑travel features
- Build Lambda architecture solutions for data processing
- Integrate data from Azure Data Lake Storage, Blob Storage, and Azure Data Factory
- Transform and cleanse data using Python, PySpark, Scala, and Spark
- Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability of solutions
- DP-100, DP-200, or AZ-900 certification
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Azure Databricks
- Proficiency in Delta Lake and time‑travel design patterns
- Experience with Lambda Data Architecture
- Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Platform services such as ADLS, Blob Storage, and Azure Data Factory
- Understanding of big data file formats (JSON, Avro, Parquet)
- Expertise in Python, PySpark, Scala, and Spark for data pipeline development
