ITC Infotech is hiring an AI Research Scientist for its Center of Excellence in Applied AI. You will conduct original research in areas such as computer vision, generative AI, and time series forecasting, translating research insights into production AI solutions for ITC's manufacturing and retail clients.
The role combines elements of fundamental research with applied engineering, making it ideal for candidates who want to pursue impactful AI work in an industry setting.
- Conduct research in computer vision, NLP, or generative AI for manufacturing and CPG applications
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed conferences and journals
- Prototype and evaluate new AI approaches with real business datasets
- PhD or M.Tech in CS, AI, Statistics, or related field
- Strong publication record in NeurIPS, CVPR, EMNLP, or similar venues
- Expert Python programming with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Experience with large-scale model training on GPU clusters
- Ability to communicate research to non-technical business stakeholders
- Experience applying AI in manufacturing or CPG is a plus
- Research novel AI approaches for client-specific problems
- Prototype and benchmark AI models against baselines
- Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize research models
- Represent ITC Infotech's AI capabilities through publications and conferences
- Mentor junior data scientists and ML engineers
