About the Role
Our recruiter app is where companies post jobs, review applicants and move them through interviews. It's used for hours every day by people whose job depends on it, and they notice every rough edge. We're looking for a full stack engineer who enjoys that kind of pressure and wants to own features from database table to button.
Recent work on the recruiter side includes a five-step job posting form with AI help for missing details, a pipeline view for applicants, and CSV exports that recruiters asked for in their first week. There's plenty more on the list, and you'd help decide the order.
What You'll Do
- Ship complete features in the recruiter app: the Django API, the React UI and the tests
- Talk directly to recruiters using the product to understand what's slowing them down
- Improve the reliability of background work like emails, imports and exports
- Review code for teammates on both sides of the stack
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of full stack work, with real depth on at least one side
- Comfortable with Python and TypeScript, or keen to get there quickly
- You've designed database tables you were still happy with a year later
- You care about the people using what you build, not just the code
