About the Role
We pull jobs from many sources: company ATS boards like Greenhouse and Lever, job aggregators, and recruiters posting directly. Each source formats things differently, and the same job often arrives three times with three different titles. Turning that into clean, trustworthy data is a real engineering problem, and it's yours if you want it.
You'd also build the reporting that the rest of the company runs on: which sources bring jobs people actually apply to, where applicants drop off, and how salaries are moving across cities.
What You'll Do
- Build and run ingestion for new job sources, with monitoring for when a source changes format
- Improve de-duplication and normalisation of titles, locations, salaries and skills
- Model our data for analytics and keep the dashboards honest
- Work with the data scientist on clean training data for matching
What You'll Need
- 3+ years building data pipelines in Python and SQL
- You've dealt with messy, inconsistent source data and built something robust anyway
- Strong data modelling instincts
- Nice to have: experience with job or e-commerce catalogue data, or with Airflow/Dagster
